You can get into Luton from the M1 by exiting junction 10 or 11.

There are three railway stations in Luton. These are Luton itself, Luton Airport Parkway and Leagrave. You can get to and from various parts of Luton by using the local bus service.

Luton has a diverse population, and this is reflected by the wide range of shopping opportunities available in and around town. There are many independent food shops selling cuisine from around the world.

Bury Park is one of the town’s biggest shopping areas, and there are more than 100 stores available in the Mall Luton. This popular shopping centre has seen substantial renovation work and forms the backdrop for various leisure events. Luton Retail Park is located around a mile away from the centre of Luton and is home to brands like B&M, Argos and Halfords.

Education in Luton

There are many options available if you need to find a school for your child or children in Luton. Luton offers a mix of faith schools, state schools and private schools. Most of the schools in Luton have received “good” ratings or above from Ofsted recently. Woodlands Secondary school was rated “outstanding”.

When it comes to higher education, the closest university to the town is The University of Bedfordshire, which is home to approximately 20,000 studies from more than 120 countries.
